Vikas Sikervar

Vikas Sikervar is a highly experienced Principal Scientist II specializing in Crop Protection Research at Syngenta since June 2014, where leadership includes managing a team of 8-10 chemists focused on developing insecticides and coordinating global agrochemical projects. Prior to this role, Vikas was a Scientist at SABIC, contributing to the development of plasticizers, lubricants, and transformer fluids through innovative synthesis techniques. Vikas holds a Post Doctorate in Organic Chemistry from Princeton University, a Post-Graduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Law from Indira Gandhi National Open University, and a PhD in Organic Chemistry from Purdue University, complemented by advanced studies and internships at prestigious institutions including the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, and the University of Ottawa.
