Thomas Morris

Thomas Morris is a seasoned professional in the field of genomics and personalized diagnostics, currently serving as the Genomics Program Manager at SYNLAB UK & Ireland since October 2020. Prior to this role, Thomas held the position of Lead Supervisor for Personalised Diagnostics at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre, overseeing a team of approximately 80 staff within the domains of Cytogenetics, Molecular Genetics, HLA, and ART from May 2016 to May 2020. Thomas's extensive experience also includes a tenure as Principal Clinical Cytogeneticist at the National Centre for Medical Genetics, where Thomas served from March 2006 to May 2016. Educational qualifications include an MBA in International Healthcare Management from the University of Cumbria (2018-2019), a Postgraduate Diploma in Cytogenetics from the British Columbia Institute of Technology (1993-1994), and a Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology from the University of Victoria (1986-1991).
