Adam Thomas (he/him)

Adam Thomas (he/him) has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. Starting in 1997, they worked as an HR Advisor at Brann Worldwide for a brief period. Adam then joined the Corporate Executive Board as a Research Associate/Senior Research Associate from November 1997 to April 1999. In 1999, Adam Thomas joined Pfizer and held various positions, including Senior Advisor, Associate Director, and Director in the Human Resources division until March 2011. Afterward, they joined SC Johnson as the Director and Head of Human Resources - Research, Development & Engineering (RD&E) from March 2011 to April 2014. Subsequently, Adam Thomas worked at Shire Pharmaceuticals as the Vice President and Head of HR - Research & Development from April 2014 to July 2017. Adam then became the Chief Human Resources Officer at Synlogic from July 2017 to March 2020. Adam Thomas later took on the role of Chief People Officer & Corporate Secretary at Synlogic from March 2020 to June 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Chief People Officer at Synlogic since June 2022.

Adam Thomas (he/him) has a diverse education history. Adam began their educational journey in 1993 at The University of Edinburgh, where they pursued an LLB degree in Law. Adam completed their undergraduate studies in 1996. Following this, in 1996-1997, Adam pursued an MA degree with a specialization in Human Resources at the University of the West of England.

After several years, Adam returned to pursue further education in 2009-2010 at the Questrom School of Business, Boston University. During this period, they obtained an MBA degree.
