Kathryn Nil

Kathryn Nil has a strong background in technical roles, primarily in the audio and video production industry. Kathryn is currently employed as a Technical Account Manager at Synology since August 2022. Prior to that, Kathryn worked as a Technical Artist, Technical Consulting, and Sound Designer at companies such as All is Well, Seattle Voice Academy, and Annex Theatre. Kathryn also served as a Master Audio Engineer at Seattle Shakespeare Company and Book-It Repertory Theatre, where they executed sound design plans and provided programming assistance. Additionally, Kathryn worked as a Freelance Videographer for The Moth and as a Technical Consultant for COLOR, where they provided consultation and maintenance support for various technical systems. Kathryn also has experience as an Audio Visual Technician at Technical Event Production, LLC, where they handled pre-production, AV operations, and equipment installation.

Kathryn Nil completed their education with an Associates of Applied Arts degree in Audio Production from The Art Institutes, where they studied from 2001 to 2003. Prior to that, they attended LEWISTON SENIOR HIGH from 1996 to 2000, where they obtained their diploma. During their time at LEWISTON SENIOR HIGH, Kathryn studied Journalism, Drama, Choir, and Radio Broadcast Technology.
