Kalyan Thumaty

Kalyan Thumaty is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the semiconductor and design automation industries. Currently serving as Senior Vice President at Synopsys Inc since November 2023, Kalyan previously held the position of Corporate Vice President & General Manager for the Product Enablement Solutions Group at Intel Corporation from March 2018 to November 2023. Kalyan's prior roles include Corporate Vice President at AMD, where responsibilities spanned Design Methodology and IT, and Vice President at Stream Processors, Inc. Kalyan has held various key leadership roles at Cadence Design Systems, Simplex Solutions, and Synergy Semiconductor, demonstrating a strong background in engineering and business development. Kalyan holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Biomedical Engineering from Osmania University.
