Latha Venkatachari

Latha Venkatachari is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in engineering and application development, currently serving as Vice President of Engineering at Synopsys Inc since December 1997, where previous roles included Group Director and Vice President of Application Engineering. Latha has contributed to academia as a member of the Advisory Council for the Big Data program at California State University - East Bay from October 2021 to March 2024. Earlier career experiences include managerial and engineering positions at Microcon Instruments and CrossCheck Inc, as well as serving as a Scientist at DRDO. Latha holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Computer Science from the University of Mysore, earned between 1989 and 1991.
