Richard Moloney is currently a Principal Engineer in R&D at Synopsys, working on the PrimeTime team, which focuses on industry-leading Static Timing Analysis software. They earned a PhD in Mathematics from University College Dublin, where their research centered on Edwards curves and Kloosterman sums. Richard has significant experience in software development, having worked as a Software Engineer at Synopsys from 2012 to 2023, and collaborated with Intel and RIM on applied cryptography projects. Additionally, Richard served as a Postgraduate Researcher and Tutor during their time at University College Dublin.
