Dan Matthews

Dan Matthews, MBA, CRCM, currently serves as the Director of Fair and Responsible Banking at Synovus since September 2022. Matthews has a robust background in compliance and fair lending spanning over a decade, with prior roles including Vice President and Compliance Director at Fulton Bank, AVP and Fair and Responsible Banking Manager at U.S. Bank, and Director of Fair Lending and Responsible Practices at PHH Mortgage. Earlier positions at Sovereign Bank encompassed various compliance-related roles. Matthews holds an MBA from La Salle University and a BA in Economics from Ursinus College, along with training from the ABA National Compliance School.
