Wm. Nearhood

Wm. (Mitch) Nearhood is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software testing, quality assurance, and leadership. Currently serving as Sr. Manager of Information Technology at Synovus since April 2016, Nearhood oversees all software testing and quality assurance activities. Previously, at Fifth Third Bank, Nearhood held dual roles as Vice President of Information Technology and Vice President of Enterprise Quality, contributing as a Subject Matter Expert and managing significant teams and budgets. Early career experiences include positions as Sr QA Lead at Legato and QA Lead at Digineer, complemented by roles at Giage, IBM, and the USAF. Nearhood holds a BS in Engineering from the University of Cincinnati and a Master of Science in Engineering Management from the University of Dayton.
