Emily Hunter, LMSW, has extensive experience in school-based mental health services, currently serving as a School-Based Clinician at Syntero, Inc. since July 2020. Prior roles include School-Based Therapist at Beech Brook and an internship as a School-Based Therapist, where Emily facilitated psychological evaluations, developed individual treatment plans, and taught social-emotional learning programs. Experience also includes serving as Therapy Intern at the Battered Women's Shelter and The Rape Crisis Center, where direct services were provided to survivors of sexual violence. Earlier roles include Field Director for Marsy’s Law for Ohio, focusing on victim rights advocacy, and School Outreach Intern at Athens County Children Services, supporting students with developmental disabilities. Emily holds a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Ohio University and a Master's degree in Social Work from The University of Akron.
