Martin Scardino

Martin Scardino has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Martin started their career at Ernst & Young as an Analyst in Taxes from November 2002 to July 2004. Martin then joined Rockwell Automation as the Responsible for Taxes and Accounts Payable from July 2004 to July 2006. After that, they worked at Kraft Foods Argentina as the Tax Coordinator for a year from July 2006 to May 2007.

In May 2007, Scardino joined Syntex S.A. as the Manager of Administration. Martin held this position for almost five years until January 2012. During their tenure, they accomplished optimizing administrative processes and improving financial planning through customer and supplier analysis. Martin also reorganized and professionalized the administrative sectors.

Following this, Scardino advanced to the position of Corporate Controller at Syntex S.A. from January 2012 to May 2019. Simultaneously, in July 2016, they successfully negotiated and implemented a long-term manufacturing contract with a leading global company in the animal health market. In December 2015, Scardino secured an agreement for the sale of trademarks and registrations in Latin America with another leading global company in the animal reproduction market. Martin also led a project for a new production plant in Brazil.

Most recently, Scardino served as the Chief Operating Officer at Syntex S.A. starting from May 2019, with their current position ongoing.

Martin Scardino has a diverse educational background. In 1998, they attended the University of Buenos Aires, where they pursued a degree in Economicas and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Contador Publico Nacional in 2002. Later, in 2007 and 2008, Martin pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina 'Santa María de los Buenos Aires'. In 2012, they participated in the Programa de Desarrollo Directivo at IAE Business School - Universidad Austral, Buenos Aires. Martin's educational journey continued in 2015 when they briefly attended IAE Business School. Although no degree or field of study is specified for this last stint, these experiences showcase Martin Scardino's commitment to continuously enhancing their skills and knowledge in various fields.
