Alexander Brown

Associate Director, Eclipse Development at Synthego

Alexander Brown has a strong background in scientific research and development. Alexander started their career as a Doctoral Researcher at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine from 2005 to 2012. Afterward, they worked as a Post Doctoral Fellow at Stanford University School of Medicine, where they focused on kinase control of neurodegeneration and tumor resistance mechanisms in basal cell skin cancers. Alexander successfully secured funding, developed various models and systems for studying kinase regulation, and conducted research on neural differentiation and organoid systems. From 2019, Alexander has been working at Synthego Corporation, starting as a Development Scientist and progressing to roles like Senior Scientist, Staff Scientist, and currently holds the position of Associate Director, ECLIPSE Development.

Alexander Brown earned a Bachelor's degree in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology and Biochemistry from the University of Colorado Boulder, attending from 2002 to 2005. Later, from 2005 to 2012, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine.
