Ilan Feuchtwang

Ilan Feuchtwang has been working in the legal field for over 10 years. Ilan is currently the General Counsel at Synthego, a position they have held since November 2021. Prior to this, they were the Vice President of Legal at CareDx, Inc. from September 2020 to November 2021. In this role, they were responsible for managing the legal department, contracts, intellectual property, litigation, and collaborating cross-functionally to implement data privacy and compliance policies.

Before joining CareDx, Ilan was the Lead Counsel for Roche Molecular Systems' Sequencing Unit from October 2013 to January 2019. In this role, they negotiated, structured, drafted and provided ongoing client counseling with respect to a wide array of intellectual property and commercial transactions that ranged from license agreements (whether ordinary course of business or in the context of complex intellectual property settlement agreements) and other intellectual property acquisition agreements, strategic alliance agreements, collaboration agreements, university sponsored research agreements and consulting agreements to complex OEM supply agreements, settlement agreements and intellectual property and commercial aspects of M&A transactions and related agreements.

Ilan has a wealth of experience in providing counsel with respect to strategy, structuring deals, construing contractual obligations and providing guidance with respect to contractual performance and compliance. Ilan is a trusted advisor to senior management on a wide range of legal issues.

Ilan Feuchtwang attended Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law and received their J.D. Ilan also has a Master of Science in Cell and Molecular Biology from University of Wisconsin-Madison. Their undergraduate studies were in Molecular and Cell Biology at Penn State University, where they received their Bachelor of Science. Ilan Feuchtwang is also certified by the United States Patent & Trademark Office in Patent Bar, and by the Supreme Court of California and Illinois in their respective state bars.
