J. David Hou

J. David Hou currently serves as Associate Director and Principal Scientist in Process Development at Synthekine, focusing on upstream process development for biologics through recombinant E. coli and mammalian cell culture systems. Previous roles include Principal Scientist at Grifols, where leadership in upstream process development encompassed CHO cell culture and fermentation, as well as significant contributions to manufacturing scale-up and process documentation.
