Yiyang Xu

Yiyang Xu is a highly experienced professional in the field of analytical development and cell therapy, currently serving as Senior Director of Analytical Development at Synthekine since September 2022. Previously, Xu held the position of Director of Cell Therapy Development at Berkeley Lights, Inc., where responsibilities included advancing cell therapy technologies and collaborating with engineering teams to develop next-generation systems. Xu's prior experience also encompasses significant leadership roles at Eureka Therapeutics, Inc., where contributions included designing CAR-T and TCR-T platforms, managing molecular biology teams, and co-inventing proprietary therapeutic technologies. Xu began a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco, after completing a PhD in Cell and Molecular Biology at the University of Nevada, Reno, along with an MS and BS from Sun Yat-sen University.
