Jorge Dinamarca

Jorge Dinamarca has extensive work experience in the scientific field. Jorge is currently working as a Senior Scientist at Plantible Foods since January 2023. Prior to that, they held multiple roles at Synthetic Genomics from June 2018 onwards, including Scientist and Scientist II. Before their time at Synthetic Genomics, Jorge worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Louisiana State University starting in October 2017. Jorge also worked as a Scientist at Algenol Biofuels Inc. from June 2014 to January 2017. Prior to that, they were a Postdoctoral Fellow at Rutgers University from April 2012 to June 2014, and at The Weizmann Institute of Science from December 2008 to April 2012.

Jorge Dinamarca pursued their education in the field of molecular biology and biochemistry. Jorge attended the Universidad de Concepción from 1996 to 2003, where they completed a Master of Science degree in Biochemistry. Following that, from 2004 to 2008, they continued their studies at the Universidad de la Frontera, specializing in Ph.D. Molecular Biology.
