Hamid Shahjavan

Hamid Shahjavan is a seasoned professional in process engineering with extensive experience across several prominent companies in the oil and gas sector. Currently serving as Process Technology Manager for Development at Synthomer since June 2022, Hamid leads the Process Innovation team, focusing on conceptual process design and innovative technologies, particularly in the NBR business of the PE Division. Previous roles include Lead Process Engineer at IFP Engineering Solutions and Senior Process Engineer at Desmet Ballestra. Hamid has also held various leadership positions at PETRONAS, overseeing technology project management and advising on key technologies. With an academic background in Chemical Engineering from Persian Gulf University and experience as an adjunct lecturer, Hamid has a proven track record in process design, execution, and technology deployment.
