Kamal Elsayed

Kamal Elsayed is a seasoned Senior Applications Engineer in Energy Solutions at Synthomer, with extensive experience in the petroleum and drilling fluids industry. Prior roles include Senior Technical Leader at Q'Max Solutions Inc., where Kamal managed international technical drilling fluids projects, and a significant tenure at Elementis Specialties, where Kamal oversaw major product developments, including the successful commercial launch of a Low Shear Rate Rheological Modifier. Kamal has a strong background in project management, business development, and technical training, along with expertise in creating innovative oilfield product applications. Early career experience includes being the first engineer to initiate a Formate Mud in the Middle East, validated by Saudi Aramco. Kamal holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Physics and Chemistry from Alexandria University and a Diploma in Advanced Drilling Fluids Engineering from the Canadian Petroleum Institute.
