Katharina Altmeyer

Katharina Altmeyer serves as Operations Support and Quality Manager at Synthomer since May 2017, where responsibilities include managing the quality laboratory, energy management, and coordinating production trials, alongside overseeing quality KPIs and budget for the department. Prior to this role, Katharina held the position of Operations Improvement Manager at Synthomer, focusing on process improvements and data analysis. Experience includes working as a Continuous Improvement Process Engineer and participating in an international Young Engineer Program at Bunge, undertaking project management and process optimization. Early career stages involved research assistance at KIT and internships in food processing at Bühler AG. Katharina holds a Diplomingenieur in Chemical Engineering from Universität Karlsruhe (KIT) and a Green Belt certification from TÜV Rheinland.
