Nicholas Heng

Nicholas Heng has extensive work experience in the procurement and purchasing field. Nicholas started their career at ICI Paints in 2003, where they held various roles including Regional Category Manager and BU Purchasing Manager in China. Nicholas then worked at Nippon Paint China as a Procurement Director before joining AkzoNobel as Global Purchasing Director for Titanium Dioxide. Nicholas later became the Global Business Development Director for Salt at AkzoNobel. Nicholas also worked at Akzo Nobel Decorative Coatings as the Global Purchasing Director for TiO2. Most recently, they served as the Regional Purchasing Director and Global Purchasing Project Manager at Bekaert before joining Synthomer as the Procurement Director for Asia.

Nicholas Heng earned an MBA degree in Business Administration from Heriot-Watt University, where they studied from 1996 to 2001. Prior to that, they pursued a degree in Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln from 1990 to 1992. Nicholas completed their high school education at Foon Yew High School in Malaysia.
