Raymond Somich II is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in marketing, strategy, and government affairs, currently serving as the Global Director of Government Affairs & Economic Development at Synthomer since March 2019. Previously, Raymond held various senior marketing leadership roles at Synthomer and The Dow Chemical Company, focusing on global marketing, strategic innovation, and commercialization across multiple business units, including coatings and construction solutions. Raymond’s career also includes management roles at POLY-CARB, Inc., and Discoverhelp, Inc., alongside significant experience in sales and marketing within media and sports broadcasting. Raymond holds an MBA in Finance & Supply Chain from Bowling Green State University and a BBA in Management & Marketing from David N. Myers University.
