What we’re looking for

You will be an integral contributor to a team responsible for managing projects through all stages of hardware development with contributions from multi-discipline design team members. The team requires energetic, self-motivated individuals who can work closely with a variety of key stakeholders in the development of innovative features and products.

What you’ll do

  • Creation and maintenance of project plans for various engagements covering schedule, cost, resource assignment, risk, communication, stakeholder management, etc.
  • Tracking and reporting of project key performance indicators (KPI’s)
  • Manage and motivate teams of varying size, from single to multi-disciplinary HW development teams throughout the product development lifecycle
  • Develop project schedules in MS Project (resource & effort estimation) collaboratively with design discipline functional management
  • Assess impacts on project schedule due to technical issues and determine mitigation strategies
  • Coordinate integration of hardware, software, firmware & mechanical developments
  • Oversee regulatory and safety approvals phases of new product development, where applicable
  • Manage and review product development documentation (Requirements Specifications, System Specifications, Design Description Documents, Design Verification Test Plans & Reports, Product Manuals, etc.)
  • Review and track status of project schedules and key deliverables
  • Facilitate product design review meetings
  • Develop and execute communication plans to ensure key stakeholders are informed appropriately of project status and key issues

What you'll need to get the job done

  • Project Management experience leading integrated HW/SW product development
  • Highly organized individual with the ability to multi-task and adjust to priorities as required
  • Strong Leadership skills
  • Excellent written, verbal communication skills and presentation skills
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • Effective problem-solving skills and proven ability to work collaboratively with
  • Design teams or other departments to resolve complex issues with novel solutions
