Rick Hogan, P. Eng, PMP has over 30 years of experience in various leadership roles in engineering and project management. Rick is currently the Director of Engineering at Syntronic - A Global Design House, where they lead the development and execution of projects in hardware and systems development. Prior to this, they worked as an Engineering Manager and Technical Project Manager at Syntronic, where they gained extensive experience in product design/development services and New Product Introduction. Rick has also held roles as the Director of Program Management at Flextronics, Senior Mechanical Engineer at Curtiss-Wright Defense Solutions, and Product Development Consultant at Ideas and Solutions. With their background in program management, they served as the Director of Design Operations at Flextronics and the Director of Program Management & Product Realization at Solectron. Earlier in their career, they worked as the Director of Electronics Packaging Engineering at C-MAC Engineering Inc. and Senior Manager for Physical Design at Nortel. Rick began their career as a Mechanical Engineer at Leigh Instruments and later became a Project Engineer and Technical leader of mechanical design at DY4 Systems. Rick Hogan has a strong track record of delivering successful projects and is well-versed in product development and engineering discipline leadership.

Rick Hogan, P. Eng, PMP, completed their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Memorial University of Newfoundland between 1981 and 1987. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications throughout their career. Rick obtained the Licensed Professional Engineer certification from the Professional Engineers Ontario in February 1990. Rick also obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in April 2019. Furthermore, they acquired the certification "Become an Agile Project Manager" from LinkedIn in March 2019.
