Brett Greenky has had a diverse work experience. Brett started their career as a partner at Syracuse Orthopedic Specialists, PC in 1990 and became the President of the company in 2017. In 2011, they co-founded OPERATION WALK SYRACUSE, a 501C3 organization that provides free total joint replacements to indigent patients both locally and internationally. Brett served as the Co-Founder and Co-Director of this organization. In 2017, Brett joined OPERATION WALK INTERNATIONAL as a Board Member to assist in the integration and fundraising efforts of the international charitable medical network. Brett also served as the Managing Partner at Specialist One Day Surgery, LLC from 2013 to 2017.
Brett Greenky began their education by completing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology at Northwestern University from 1975 to 1979. Brett then pursued a Master of Science in Biology at LIU Post from 1979 to 1980. Subsequently, Brett attended SUNY Upstate Medical University from 1980 to 1984, where they obtained a Doctor of Medicine degree, specializing in Medicine. Brett continued their medical education at SUNY Upstate Hospital from 1984 to 1989, completing an Orthopedic Surgery Residency program and earning the title of MD. Finally, in 1989 and 1990, Brett Greenky joined New England Baptist Hospital for an AuFranc Fellowship in Joint Replacement, expanding their knowledge in this field.
