Kathy Zappala

Kathy Zappala is the HR Manager & Business Associate at Syracuse Stage. Kathy has over 20 years of experience in accounting and customer service. Kathy started their career at AXA-Equitable as a Policy Issue/Payment Servicer. In this role, Kathy was responsible for processing accounting transactions and providing customer service support. Kathy was then promoted to Senior Benefits Accountant, where they prepared comprehensive General ledger reconciliations and assisted in the preparation of 401k benefit plan financial statements. Kathy also developed a complex benefits database to maintain compliance with FAS-157 regulations of the fair value benefits in retirement plan. Kathy's last role at AXA-Equitable was as an HR Manager & Business Associate, where they were responsible for all aspects of HR for the company.

Kathy Zappala's educational career includes a Bachelor of Applied Science in Accounting from Columbia College and an Associate of Science in Computer Science from Onondaga Community College.
