Hani Khabbaz

Hani Khabbaz serves as the Director General of the Syria Recovery Trust Fund (SRTF) since June 2014, overseeing the distribution of donor funds aimed at alleviating the hardships faced by the Syrian population and enhancing economic stability. Previously, Hani was the Managing Partner and Major Shareholder at TTD, a food products dealer, and held the position of Managing Director at Al Ghurair International, where efforts were focused on expanding into the fine food and beverage sectors. Earlier career experiences include establishing an IT consulting firm in Dubai and serving as Regional Director of IT for Arthur Andersen, where significant contributions included leading the Dubai Internet City project and developing regional IT capabilities. Hani holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Damascus University.
