Prior to this role, Tyler worked as a Deputy Sheriff in both the Denver Sheriff Department and the City and County of Denver, gaining valuable technical management experience from September 2007 to September 2010. Tyler holds a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology with a focus on Database Management from Kaplan University, which was completed between 2009 and 2011.
