Carter Page is an experienced technology executive with a strong background in engineering and data management. Currently serving as Executive Vice President of R&D at Astronomer since April 2025, Carter has previously held significant leadership roles, including Managing Director and Head of Data Engineering at Two Sigma from June 2021 to December 2024, and Director of Engineering at Google from December 2012 to June 2021, where responsibilities included overseeing Cloud Native Databases. Carter's early career included roles such as Director of Engineering at Amplify, co-founder and CTO of Philo Media Corporation, and Principal at SunGard Global Services, contributing to various high-profile projects in finance and media. Carter co-founded Clearbridge Inc. and held positions at Tigres International and BuildPoint, showcasing a diverse skill set in technology development and operations.
