Kim Truter Fouche

Kim Truter Fouche has over 27 years of work experience in software development and programming.

Kim started their career as a Junior Programmer at Benoni City Council in 1994 before moving to Easirun Software in 1995 as a Programmer. In 1999, they joined Prime Cure Group (Pty) Ltd as a Programmer.

In 2003, they began working at SYSPRO, where they held various positions over the years. Kim started as a Programmer, then progressed to Senior Programmer and Team Lead. Eventually, they became the Software Development Manager for Finance, responsible for staff development and reviews, development planning, coordination, and road map planning.

Currently, Kim is the Head of Software Development at SYSPRO, a role they have held since October 2012. In this position, they are responsible for developing and monitoring performance metrics, developing the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), and providing training.

Kim Truter Fouche completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Management Information Systems with a focus on IT - Enterprise Systems and Business Process Management at the University of Cape Town from 2019 to 2020. In 2016, they participated in a Program in Project Management at the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria. Additionally, in 1994, they attended Van Zyl and Pritchard where they studied COBOL programming.
