Sol Vitkin has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. In 2013, Sol worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Rochester, assisting an Economics Professor with data mining and analysis projects. They also served as an Econometrics Teaching Assistant, helping students understand linear regression concepts. Additionally, Sol worked as a Microeconomics Teaching Assistant.
In 2014, Sol held the role of Math Tutor at the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning. They also served as an Inventory Manager at Adam Poots Games, where they managed inventory, fulfilled orders, and provided feedback during game development.
From 2016 to 2018, Sol worked as a Data Scientist at the IDA Science and Technology Policy Institute. They developed and deployed a Shiny application for multiple U.S. federal agencies.
From 2019 to 2021, Sol worked as a Software Engineer at Anaqua, where they led the design and implementation of new features for law firm docketing software. They also developed data pipelines and integrated annuity payment services.
Currently, Sol is employed at System Inc. Since 2021, they have been working as a Software Engineer and were promoted to Senior Software Engineer in 2023.
Sol Vitkin received a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Rochester in 2015. Afterwards, Sol pursued a Master's degree in Data Science at the same institution from 2015 to 2016.
