Kushtrim Avdiu

Kushtrim Avdiu has extensive research experience, starting with their role as a Research Associate at RIT Kosovo (A.U.K). In this position, they worked on a regional research project on Education Specific Corruption in the Western Balkans. Kushtrim then joined System1 Research in 2016, where they held various roles including Research Associate, Senior Research Associate, Client Manager, Research Consultant, and finally Senior Research Consultant. Throughout their time at System1 Research, Kushtrim Avdiu contributed to data collection and analysis, specifically focusing on residential energy consumption data for Kosovo. In 2021, they joined System1Group as a Senior Effectiveness Analyst in the Labs/R&D department. This diverse range of roles and experiences demonstrates their expertise in research and analysis.

Kushtrim Avdiu completed their Master of Science (MSc) degree in Banking and Finance at The University of Sheffield from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Economics and Management from Rochester Institute of Technology, where they studied from 2010 to 2014. In 2012, they also attended a summer school program in Economics at the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Economics.

In addition to their formal education, Kushtrim Avdiu has obtained several certifications. In December 2022, they completed the Python for Data Science, AI & Development course offered by Coursera. Kushtrim also obtained the Data Science Methodology certification from Coursera in November 2022. Furthermore, they completed the Power BI Essential Training course provided by LinkedIn in November 2020. In March 2020, Kushtrim Avdiu obtained the Become a Data Analytics Specialist certification from LinkedIn. Kushtrim also completed the Financial Forecasting with Big Data certification and the R Statistics Essential Training certification, both from LinkedIn, in February 2020.
