Gerald Stevenson

Gerald Stevenson has been working in the IT industry since 2000. Gerald began their career as the Owner of Stevenson Management Company. In 2003, they became the Chief Member Technical Staff/ Network Systems Administrator at TAMSCO/DRS. In 2006, they were the Chief Operations Officer at Precise Technologies, LLC (Secured Consultant Position, Daston Corporation). From 2008 to 2015, they worked at Vectrus- formally Exelis Systems as a Network/ Systems Administrator/ Operations. Gerald then moved to Systems Technologies, Inc. (Systek) where they held two roles: Senior Project Network (SATCOM) Engineer PEO~ EIS & C3T SATCOM/ PM DCATS and Senior SATCOM/ Network Engineer - PL DWTS/ PM DCATS. In both roles, they were responsible for the US Army Program Executive Office - Enterprise Information Systems (PEO-EIS), Program Manager - Defense Communications and Army Transmission Systems, Product Lead - Defense - Wide Transmission Systems, Combat Service Support - CAISI & VSAT Platforms, and Software Development Life Cycle.

Gerald Stevenson received a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technologies~ Electronics Management from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University between 1982 and 1987. Gerald also obtained a Senior Telecommunications Engineer certification from the National Association of Radio and Telecommunications Engineers in November 1987. In 2014, they earned certifications in Server +, CCNA, and Project +. In 2015, they obtained a HIPAA and Privacy Act Training certification from D.O.D. Joint Knowledge Online. In 2016, they earned an OPSEC Awareness for Military Members, DOD Employees certification from Defense Security Service and a Cyber Security Fundamentals (40 Hours) certification from the U.S. Army Signal Center, Fort Gordon, GA. Additionally, they earned a Security + CE certification from CompTIA in November 2013. In 2017, they completed their Master of Business Administration in Executive~ MBA: National Security from George Mason University - School of Business.
