Mike Jones

Mike Jones has extensive work experience in engineering and research roles. Mike is currently the Director of Engineering Services and Head of Department at Systems Technology, Inc. (STI). Prior to that, they worked as a Principal Research Engineer at STI. Before joining STI, Mike served as a Group Leader in Handling Qualities and Flight Mechanics at the German Aerospace Center (DLR). Mike also worked as a Research Engineer at DLR. Additionally, Mike has research experience from their time as a Postdoctoral Research Assistant and Postgraduate Research Student at the University of Liverpool. Mike has also received an EPSRC Summer Research Scholarship at the University of Liverpool.

Mike Jones completed their education in aerospace, aeronautical, and astronautical engineering at the University of Liverpool. Mike first pursued a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree from 2006 to 2010. Later, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree from 2010 to 2014 in the same field of study.
