Gaël Fichan

Gaël Fichan has a strong background in fixed income portfolio management and asset management. Gaël currently holds the position of Head Fixed Income & Senior Portfolio Manager at Syz Group since January 2023. Prior to this role, they were a Portfolio Manager & Fixed Income Lead at Syz Group from September 2020 to January 2023. Before joining Syz Group, Fichan worked at BCV - Banque Cantonale Vaudoise as a Fixed Income Portfolio Manager from September 2013 to August 2020. Gaël also gained experience as a Junior Credit Portfolio Manager at Swisscanto Fondsleitung AG from September 2012 to August 2013. Fichan started their career as a Product Specialist at CEDRUS PARTNERS from July 2011 to August 2012 and completed internships at ASSYA ASSET MANAGEMENT in derivative brokerage from August 2010 to December 2010 and at CITIGROUP GLOBAL MARKET LIMITED in investment banking from May 2010 to August 2010.

Gaël Fichan holds a Bachelor's Degree of Science in Financial Markets from ESG Finance, which they earned from 2009 to 2011. Gaël then pursued a Master's Degree of Science in Financial Markets from ESG Finance from 2011 to 2012. In 2012 and 2013, they attended ZHAW Zurich University of Applied Sciences, where they obtained a Master's Degree in Banking and Finance. In 2014, Gaël completed a Certification in Intensive Banking Analysis from Fitch Learning.
