Jeffrey Schmidt

Jeffrey Schmidt is a GIS Technician at Actalent since October 2022, specializing in hydrology, transportation, and utility networks through advanced geospatial production tasks. Prior to this role, Jeffrey served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Colorado Boulder, mentoring over 30 undergraduate students and teaching physical geography lab sessions to more than 300 students. As a Graduate Researcher, Jeffrey managed a team of interns in digitizing historical data and ensuring the quality of a comprehensive dataset through statistical analysis. Previous experience includes a position as a Hydrologic Technician with the U.S. Geological Survey, and roles in management and maintenance at YMCA of the Rockies and the National Park Service. Jeffrey holds a Master of Arts in Geography, a Bachelor of Arts in Geography, and two associate degrees in Geography and Visual Communications from accredited institutions.
