Abubakar Sani

Abubakar Sani has extensive work experience in the field of clinical research and laboratory assistance. Abubakar most recently worked as a Clinical Project Assistant at T-knife Therapeutics, where they were responsible for handling and filing clinical trial documentation, overseeing the Trial Master File, and managing clinical trial supplies. Prior to that, they were a Master Thesis Student at the Biomedical Center, Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. Abubakar also worked as a Laboratory Assistant at Sonnen-Gesundheitszentrum SOGZ and Labor Becker & Kollegen MVZ GbR. Abubakar has also gained research experience as a Research Intern at the Leibniz-Institut für Lebensmittel-Systembiologie an der Technischen Universität München and the Technical University of Munich. Additionally, they have worked as a Test Analyst at Johanniter-Unfall-Hilfe e.V. and as a Customer Service Officer at Total. Abubakar began their career as a Junior Clinical Research Associate at UnoCasa Limited.

Abubakar Sani began their education journey in 2012, attending the University of Ilorin, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry. Abubakar successfully completed this program in 2016. Following this, Abubakar further expanded their knowledge and skills by attending the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria in 2018 and 2019, where they obtained a Chartered Accountant qualification in Accounting and Business/Management.

In 2019, Abubakar took a significant step towards their career goals by enrolling in the Technical University of Munich. Abubakar pursued a Master's degree in Nutrition Sciences, which they are expected to complete in 2022.

Alongside their formal education, Abubakar also obtained several additional certifications. In 2017, they received a certification in First Aid from the Novelle Institute. In the same year, they earned the HSE 1, 2, and 3 certifications from Health and Safety (UK) Ltd. Additionally, Abubakar demonstrated their proficiency in management by obtaining a certification from the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM) in 2017. Moreover, in 2017, they completed the SAP Certified Application Professional - Logistics Execution & Warehouse Mgmt. with SAP ERP 6.0 EHP5 program provided by SAP. Most recently, in 2022, Abubakar acquired certifications in ICH GOOD CLINICAL PRACTICE E6 (R2) and Introduction to Data Management for Clinical Research Studies from the Global Health Training Centre.
