Barry Butterklee

Principal Hardware Engineering PM at T-Mobile

Barry Butterklee has 25 years of work experience and has held various roles throughout their career. Barry began their career as a Software Engineer at GTE Government Systems before transitioning to AOI Systems Inc. where they worked as a Software Engineer developing real-time embedded and graphics UI software. Barry then joined Analog Devices as a Senior Software Engineer, where they developed real-time embedded and graphics UI software for chip testers. In 1996, they joined Microsoft as a Support Engineer, Team Manager, where they spearheaded hiring efforts and resolved customer issues. Barry also worked as a Senior Program Manager at Microsoft, overseeing product planning and managing a PM team. Barry then moved on to Aditi Consulting as a Technical Project Manager, launching in-store Customer Experience solutions for Microsoft retail stores. After that, they worked at Banyan Branch as a Technical Project Manager before joining Insight Global as a Technical Project Manager, achieving significant cost savings and driving flagship store openings. Most recently, Barry has been working at T-Mobile as a Principal Hardware Engineering PM, driving the development and delivery of multiple SyncUP IoT products and enhancing network functionality for MVNO partners.

Barry Butterklee, PMP, CSM completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from Stony Brook University. In addition to their formal education, they have acquired several certifications, including "Agile Project Management with Jira Cloud: 1 Projects, Boards, and Issues," "C Programming for Embedded Applications," and "IoT Foundations: Operating Systems Fundamentals" from LinkedIn. Barry also holds certifications as a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) from Scrum Alliance and as a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute. The obtained month and year for the CSM and PMP certifications are not provided.
