Garrett Porterfield is an experienced professional in the field of defensive and security driving training, currently serving as the CEO of Black Dog Mobility LLC since January 2016. Black Dog Mobility specializes in military mobility driver training, offering advanced defensive, evasive, and off-road driving courses while maintaining a fleet of 4x4 vehicles for training purposes. In addition to this role, Garrett Porterfield has held instructor positions at GardaWorld Federal Services, BSR Security Driving & Firearms Training, and Tier 1 Group LLC, focusing on security and defensive driving. A certified off-road driving trainer with the International 4-Wheel Drive Trainers' Association, Garrett also served as Director of Training at Overland Experts LLC, overseeing training at military and civilian sites. Prior to entering the driver training industry, Garrett gained experience as a land planner in various firms. Garrett Porterfield holds a BS in Arts and Architecture from Penn State University.
