James Weeden

James Weeden has over 18 years of work experience in the field of technical support and service. James currently serves as a Senior Manager, International Service and Support at T2 Biosystems, where they provide technical and logistic support to field service engineers and distributors worldwide.

Prior to that, James worked at STEMCELL Technologies for four years as a Supervisor, Instrumentation Field Service Europe. In this role, they coordinated the European field service team and ensured the provision of service visits to customer sites. James also carried out repair, maintenance, and installation of instruments, as well as provided technical assistance and troubleshooting to customers and internal staff.

Before joining STEMCELL Technologies, James worked at Illumina for nine years in various roles. As a Principle Engineering Trainer, they delivered engineering training on sequencing and genotyping platforms to field engineers. James also provided second-tier technical support and worked on identifying and implementing solutions to escalated issues as a Product Support Engineer. In addition, James worked as a Field Service Engineer at Illumina, where they performed maintenance, diagnosed faults, and provided remote and on-site support to colleagues.

James also has experience working at LI-COR Biosciences as a Field Services Engineer, where they carried out maintenance for genomic sequencers and proteomic imaging systems and developed new service contracts. James started their career at Connexions & Cambridgeshire Youth Service as a System Support Administrator, where they administered a CRM system and provided training and support to users.

Additionally, James worked at Vertex Data Science as a Support Analyst, where they implemented changes and improvements within the business and migrated millions of customers to new CRM systems.
