Jessica Snyder

Director, Molecular Sciences at T2 Biosystems

Jessica Snyder has a strong background in the field of molecular sciences. Jessica is currently working at T2 Biosystems as the Director of Molecular Sciences, a position they have held since December 2021. Prior to this role, they served as the Associate Director of Molecular Sciences from March to December 2021. Jessica also held the positions of Senior Manager, Manager, Senior Scientist, Scientist II, and Scientist at T2 Biosystems from 2014 to 2019. Before joining T2 Biosystems, Jessica worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Rochester from 2011 to 2014, where they conducted mechanotransduction research using single molecule force spectroscopy techniques and served as a lecturer for the statistics section of a graduate course in Biomedical Engineering. Overall, Jessica has gained extensive experience and expertise in molecular sciences through their various roles at T2 Biosystems and their research work at the University of Rochester.

Jessica Snyder earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology from Clarkson University between 2001 and 2005. Following that, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Biophysics from the University of Rochester from 2005 to 2011.
