Nataliya Bykova

Nataliya Bykova has over 16 years of work experience in the field of governance, compliance, and risk management. Nataliya is currently serving as the Sr. Director of Governance and Compliance at T5 Data Centers since July 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Emory University for six years as the Manager of IT Risk and Compliance, where they implemented the Compliance Program at the enterprise level and managed the IT Risk and Compliance Team.

Before joining Emory University, they worked at Ventiv Technology as the Sr. Manager of IT Security and later as IT Compliance Program Manager. Nataliya also gained experience at Aon eSolutions as IT Compliance Program Manager and IT Compliance Analyst, where they focused on governance work, risk assessment, and accreditation.

In addition, Nataliya has worked at Coca-Cola Refreshments and Coca-Cola Enterprises as the SOX Compliance Lead and SOX Compliance Analyst, respectively, where they established SOX compliance protocols. Nataliya started their career at SunTrust Bank as an Information Security Risk Assessment Analyst and later gained experience as an Information Security Offshore Risk Analyst.

Prior to their career in governance, compliance, and risk management, Nataliya worked at Jas Forwarding as a Client Support Analyst.

Nataliya Bykova completed their Master of Science in Information Security (MSIS) from Kennesaw State University from 2004 to 2006. Prior to that, they pursued a course study in Oracle 8i DBA at Gwinnett Technical College in 2003. In terms of additional certifications, Nataliya obtained the ISO 27001:2013 Lead Auditor and ISO 27001:2013 Lead Implementer certifications in December 2014. Nataliya also received the ISO 27001:2005 Lead Auditor and ISO 27001:2005 Lead Implementer certifications in January 2013. Other certifications include Certified HIPAA Privacy and Security Expert (CHPSE) in July 2012, CISA in September 2011, Security+ in September 2008, and Oracle 8i DBA in July 2003.
