Tommaso Pace

Tommaso Pace is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, and financial technology. Currently serving as the Director of Legal for Careem Pay and Global M&A, Tommaso leads the legal and compliance team within Careem's fintech division, providing regulatory guidance and fostering relationships with local regulators in the MENA region. Previous roles include Senior Legal Counsel at Revolut, Senior Associate at Chiomenti, and Associate positions at Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP and Withersworldwide, where Tommaso managed complex domestic and cross-border transactions. Additionally, Tommaso has a strong academic background, holding a Ph.D. in International, Private and Labour Law from Università degli Studi di Padova and has been a Visiting Lecturer at The University of Law, teaching legal training courses.
