Mark Gunnels

Mark Gunnels has a diverse work experience in the field of healthcare technology. Mark started their career in 2005 as a Senior Application Analyst at SCBCB DIGS IT, where they worked until 2010. In 2010, they joined the Medical University of South Carolina as a Senior Application Analyst. From 2011 to 2018, Mark worked at Tabula Rasa HealthCare in various roles, including Programmer and Principal Software Engineer-Performance Improvement. During this time, they oversaw the implementation of systems for interpreting and enhancing medical messages and played a key role in the creation of a precision medicine decision support system. From 2018 to 2021, they held the position of Vice President of Architecture at Tabula Rasa HealthCare, where they collaborated with clinicians to improve medication regimens and developed programs to enhance patient safety. In 2020, they also served as the VP of Platform Services at the company. Mark's work experience demonstrates their expertise in healthcare technology and their ability to lead and contribute to the development of innovative solutions.

Mark Gunnels obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English from Emory University. Mark attended Emory University from 1993 to 1996. Additionally, they obtained a certification in "Large Language Models: Application through Production" from edX in August 2023.
