Advanced Systems Sector Lead F/a-18ef & Ea-18g, Hampton Roads Site Manager at Tactical Air Support

Randy Stearns is an accomplished leader in U.S. Naval Aviation with extensive experience in operations, training, and management. Currently serving as the Advanced Systems Sector Lead for Tactical Air Support, Inc. since October 2016, Randy provides critical mission briefs and advanced training for aircrew and maintainers. Previously, as Commodore/Wing Commander for the Strike Fighter Wing, U.S. Atlantic Fleet, Randy managed resources and led 19 squadrons comprised of 6,000 personnel and 300 FA-18 aircraft. Additional roles include Chief Naval Air Forces, Atlantic Training and Readiness Officer, Commanding Officer of Strike Fighter Squadron 11, and various strategic positions within NATO and the Chief of Naval Personnel. Education includes a Bachelor of Business Administration in International Finance from The George Washington University, as well as advanced military qualifications in joint operations planning and aviation safety.
