Karl Zgoda

Karl Zgoda is a seasoned professional in the field of engineering, holding a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota. With extensive experience in product development, Karl served as a Senior Manager of Product Development at Arizant Healthcare/3M from April 1997 to October 2014, leading teams through the commercialization of class II medical devices. Following this, a role as Director of Product Development at RespirTech lasted from November 2014 until July 2018, after which Karl advanced to Principal R&D Engineer and eventually Director of Engineering/R&D at Tactile Medical. Currently, Karl is retired as of January 2025, having amassed a wealth of knowledge and expertise throughout a distinguished career that included earlier roles as a Senior Design Engineer at ATK, specializing in finite element analysis.
