Preston Woo has a strong background in finance and strategy, with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently, they serve as the Chief Financial Officer and Head of Strategy at Tafi, a leading provider of customizable 3D avatars and content. Previously, they held the same position at Daz 3D, another prominent company in the industry. Prior to their roles in the 3D avatar and content space, Preston was a Board Member and Chief Strategy Officer at Ossia Inc., where they played a key role in forming strategic partnerships and leading global regulatory initiatives. Preston also served as an Advisory Board Member at Kolaghassi Capital, a family office advisory firm. Preston has a strong presence in the robotics industry, having served as the Chief Financial Officer and Head of Corporate Development at Sarcos Robotics and as a Board Member at Recon Dynamics. Preston also has experience in corporate development, having worked as the Head of Corporate Development and Senior Director at Pendrell Corporation, a publicly traded company focused on acquiring businesses with intellectual property. Prior to that, Preston was the Head of Business Development for Licensing at Intellectual Ventures, a global investment fund focused on intellectual property. Preston began their career at UBS Investment Bank as an Analyst in Mergers and Acquisitions, where they executed several multi-billion dollar deals. Preston Woo completed their education at The Wharton School, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics with a concentration in Finance and Management. Preston attended this institution from 1999 to 2003. Later, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from The Wharton School, graduating in 2013.
