Jayne Mawhinney has over 25 years of professional experience in the communications and writing industries. Jayne began their career in 1991 as an Assistant Editor at Commonwealth Land Title Insurance Company. In 2006, they began working at Tag Communication Services as a Project Coordinator, Copy Editor, and Quality Assurance Specialist, where they coordinated the production of global marketing collateral, copyedited and performed QA checks of marketing collateral, and ensured copy, graphics, and layouts were consistent with customer's templates, legal guidelines, and style guidelines. Additionally, they worked as a Freelance Quality Assurance Specialist at Tag Communication Services. In the same year, they began working at TechWRITE, Inc. as a Technical Editor, where they developed, edited, formatted, and proofread technical reference manuals, policies and procedures documentation, bulletins, and advisories. Jayne also developed and wrote e-learning tutorials, test scripts, PowerPoint presentations, and other software documentation for user training, as well as designed e-learning tutorials in Adobe Captivate. In 2013, they began working at Flooring Web Solutions as a Content Writer/Editor.

Jayne Mawhinney attended Temple University from 1986 to 1989, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Communications - Journalism/Public Relations.
