James Yorston

James Yorston is an experienced energy professional with a robust background in renewable energy, technical due diligence, project finance, and project management. Currently serving as Senior Project Director at TagEnergy since September 2025, James has previously held various leadership positions, including Development Director and Senior Development Manager at ACE Power from October 2023 to November 2025, and Director of Energy Operations at Providence Climate Capital. Prior roles include positions at RINA, Energy Action, and NEP Solar Pty Ltd, where James focused on solar energy projects and wind energy development, including notable contributions to the Cullerin wind farm and the Conroy’s Gap wind farm. James holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Technology Sydney.
