Elisha S. Breton

Elisha S. Breton, MA, currently serves as the Director of Academic Affairs and Media Relations at the Consulate General of Israel to the Midwest since July 2023. With extensive experience in Jewish studies, Breton has been a Birthright Staff member for Taglit-Birthright Israel since June 2018, participating in various adventure programs. Prior roles include Copyeditor for the Journal of Posthumanism, Research Assistant at the Institute for the Study of Contemporary Antisemitism, and Graduate Course Assistant at Indiana University Bloomington. Academic credentials include a Master of Arts in Jewish Studies from Indiana University Bloomington and a Bachelor of Arts in Jewish Studies and History from California State University, Long Beach.
