Mirza Khurrum Baig

Mirza Khurrum Baig has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Mirza Khurrum began their career in 1998 as a Flight Safety Inspector/Auditor in the Pakistan Army, where they served until 2000. From 2010 to 2014, they worked as the Chief Security Officer at Shezan Intl, where they handled various security and safety affairs across the company's six industrial and logistic units. Mirza Khurrum then joined an NGO called Heartland Creditview Health and community services as an Event Coordinator, focusing on women empowerment and health/social activities. In 2016, Baig became a Team Manager at HNM Logistic Inc., where they oversaw various logistical operations and assisted the CEO with managing and maintaining the logistic fleet, projects, and business development. Most recently, Baig joined TAG (YC S21) in 2021 as the 1st Head of Central Services, where they are involved in financial services, information and technology, and fintech and neobank sectors.

Mirza Khurrum Baig completed their education in a combination of automotive business and general military sciences and international relations. In 2021, they obtained an Automotive Business Certification from Georgian College, where they focused on automotive business laws, regulations, ethics, and technical education. From 1982 to 1986, they attended the University of Peshawar, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in General and Military Sciences, as well as International Relations. During the same period, they also studied at the Pakistan Military Academy in Kakul, Abbotabad, Pakistan, and obtained a second Bachelor's degree, specializing in International Affairs, Political Science, Military, and General Science.
